MOUNTAIN BIKING: Flat Rock Ranch

← TX BEAVER CK MASON TX Single Tracks →

Description

They have 20 miles of existing single track with some jeep trails. The trails lead through typical hill country terrain (rocky), with spectacular views, hill climbs (good ones), long downhill sections (best of all), technical single track (yes it is), and several creek crossings (usually dry in the summer).

They do have a map of the area at the main trail head and it is pretty much the main entrance to all the trails. Bring your own water and tools and a couple of tubes! They do have a mechanic stand at the trail head to work on your bike. The cost is $6.00 per person and it is worth every dollar! Fill out the envelopes (at the entrance) and frop your money in the box. NORBA has several races here every year. The downhill race is worth the trip.
